What MyDeps is for

MyDeps is a tool for choir singers and musical directors to organise dep bookings for performances and rehearsals. Singers can create a profile, list their voice parts, choir memberships, bookable cities and a short bio. Directors can create bookings, set the required voice parts, and invite singers in priority order.

Account eligibility and conduct

You must be at least 18 years old to use MyDeps. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we discover that an account was created by someone under 18, we may suspend or delete the account and any associated data.

You must provide accurate information when you sign up. Only create one account per person. You agree to use MyDeps in good faith: be truthful in your profile, respond to invitations in a timely manner, and only accept events you genuinely intend to attend.

Showing up

When you accept an event, you are making a commitment to the director and the other singers. Please treat that commitment seriously. If your circumstances change, withdraw as early as possible so a replacement can be found quickly.

Financial liability

MyDeps is a booking coordination tool, not a payment processor or employment service. We do not handle, guarantee or mediate any fees, expenses or payments between directors and singers. Any financial arrangement — including gig fees, travel expenses, cancellation charges or no-show penalties — is entirely between the director and the singer.

By using MyDeps you agree that we are not liable for any loss, disputed payment, unpaid fee or financial harm arising from a booking arranged through the platform. If you accept an event, you are responsible for honouring whatever financial terms you have agreed directly with the director.

Reputation and negligent use

MyDeps works best when everyone is reliable. Repeatedly accepting events and not showing up, ignoring invitations after accepting, or otherwise using the platform negligently may harm your standing with directors and with the platform. We may restrict accounts where this behaviour is reported and confirmed.

Reported accounts

If another user reports your account as fake, misleading or abusive, we will investigate. We may lock or delete accounts found to be in breach of these terms. Locked email addresses may also be blocked from creating new accounts.

Data and privacy

MyDeps shares only the profile information you choose to make discoverable: your name, profile photo, bookable cities, voice parts, choir memberships and "About me" text. Your email address is not shared with other users unless you are acting as a director and need to be contactable by the singers you have booked.

You can control your discoverability in your profile settings. When discoverability is off, your profile will not appear in singer searches, but any existing invitations and events you have already accepted remain in place so your commitments stand.

GDPR and your rights

We process your personal data only for the purpose of running the MyDeps service. You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email admin@mydeps.co.uk.

Changes and contact
